RoninDojo is a FOSS, community-driven Bitcoin node project that relies on users' support, ideas, and contributions to grow and improve. Supporting privacy-first, fully open-source node solutions like RoninDojo is vital for maintaining Bitcoin's decentralized nature, providing users with a pure alternative to VC-backed node projects with motives outside Bitcoin.

There are many ways you can contribute to RoninDojo, including:

1. Writing Code

RoninDojo is an open-source project, and the code is available to all on GitLab. As a developer, you can contribute to RoninDojo by writing new code, fixing bugs, or improving existing features. If you want to contribute code to a FOSS Bitcoin project, check out our post on how to do it here.

2. Testing & Reporting

RoninDojo is constantly being updated with new features and improvements. Before these changes can be released to the public, they must be thoroughly tested. You can help us by testing releases and reporting any bugs you find. Testing pre-release builds will require dedicated Tanto or Bokuto hardware, not an operational personal node. If you are interested in Testing, contact us via Telegram.

2. Writing Documentation

RoninDojo has a comprehensive Wiki that helps users learn how to use the software. If you are familiar with RoninDojo, you can help by writing new or improving upon existing documentation. If you have suggestions regarding new or improved documentation, please submit your contributions to us via email at team@ronindojo.io.

3. Translation

RoninDojo is used by people all over the world. If you speak a language other than English, you can help out by translating our documentation into your native language. If you believe there is a demand for your language and want to translate, please contact us via Telegram or email at team@ronindojo.io.

4. Supporting Others

The public RoninDojo Telegram chat is a great place to ask questions and get help from other users. It is often also the first point of contact for new users encountering difficulty. If you're experienced with RoninDojo, you can contribute by assisting users in the public chat with any questions, help or advice you can accurately offer, giving our dedicated support team more time to focus on technical support tickets.

5. Promoting RoninDojo

RoninDojo is a great tool that can benefit many people. If you share RoninDojo's ethos, you can help by promoting it to others. You can write blog posts or guides, give demonstrations at local meetups, share articles and posts on social media, or simply recommend our hardware to family and friends.

No matter how you choose to contribute, your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you for being a part of the RoninDojo family!
